The Garden Gig!
Our first “Garden Gig.” Come for breakfast at 8:30 am. At 9:30, get
ready to spruce up the outside areas around Redeemer. Share a plant from your yard or
bring something lovely to plant. Bring your own tools, gloves, knee pads, etc. Look for additional details in the bulletin.
We are still in planning stages for the summer months. If you have any ideas, let us
know. The Fellowship Committee will be sponsoring the games for the rally in September.
In review, we had a great time at the New Member Brunch on April 20. About 60 people attended.
Thanks to all who brought a dish to share and all the help in cleaning up. Thanks to a great Fellowship Team; Pam, Ginger, Jo, and Liz.

Vacation Bible School
Yes, it’s four months away, yet we would like to plant our seeds early. The theme
this year is the rainforest. If you have any of the following please make a note:
fake plants (think rainforest), fake flowers, fake vines, large grocery paper bags,
small animals – monkey, turtles, macaws, parrots, butterflies, and/or frogs
(stuffed that is), crepe paper streamers – brown, green, tan, etc. We’ll be
collecting these items in June via boxes at church. We appreciate your help.

Youth Events
Junior High – Sunday May 4
On Sunday, May 4 @4:00 pm, we will meet at Redeemer for a movie. We will discuss it afterward. Bring your favorite movie snack and a friend!
High School/Young Adult
We are planning a car wash on Sat. May 10, going to see a movie on Sun. May 18, and paintball on June 1. Come and join us!

LOMC Memorial Day Work Weekend May 23 to May 26
Go out to Oregon Illinois and the Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center for a great weekend.
They have projects for all age groups. Housing, meals, and free time to enjoy LOMC is
